One of the nearest and dearest things to my heart is the search for my family roots. I started this project nearly 20 years ago with the help of 3 of my aunts. I was a teen ager and had no idea what I was getting myself into!  As time passed I realized that it was a project that would never end.

    One of my great grandfathers had 14 children, 12 of them became parents themselves. So you can imagine how large that branch has become. Another of my great grandfathers was in the Civil War and received a Congressional Medal of Honor. I have some pictures of his medal and I know who his children were, but I'm still searching for his parents.

     Eventually GED.com files will be on this site, but patience, my fellow genealogist is a virture  *wink*.  In the meantime I
 have some of the pictures of ancestors as well as some links to places you can do your own research.  I've included some mailing addresses that you might want, too. They are to places where vital statistics are stored.
